Welcome to Introduction to Speech-Language Pathology! This course is designed to introduce students to the vast field of Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. We will discuss the many settings and disorders encountered if you choose this career. This field is so rewarding, and I hope to share the love I have for it with you. I am an acute care medical Speech-Language here in Chattanooga, Tennessee working at a local hospital. I completed my undergraduate and graduate program at Andrew’s University. I love helping to restore communication, voice, and swallowing to the patients I serve as well as teaching others about this field. My goal is that you gain a strong foundation as you embark on your journey to becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist.
