CHEM 151 is the first portion of a two-semester course that is an introduction to the fundamental laws and accepted theories of chemistry. Areas to be studied include stoichiometry, atomic and molecular structure and bonding, states of matter, and thermochemistry. It is expected that students will have successfully completed a high school chemistry course or CHEM 119 before enrolling in CHEM 151.
