For students pursuing a major or minor in public relations, this capstone course is designed to explore high-level PR responsibilities comprehensively. Throughout the course, students will learn to use strategic techniques and build relationships to tackle various public relations challenges and opportunities effectively. The curriculum will cover various PR cases to analyze strategies and recommendations, particularly in crisis management and social media. The course will also delve into crisis cases faced by Adventist institutions and current national and local cases in the news. Finally, students will culminate their studies with a final capstone project where they will create a crisis plan for an organization.
